Learn to Ride a Motorcycle or Scooter
Don't wait weeks to learn how to ride. Start riding immediately. We offer private instruction so you have less stress, ride more and learn quicker. We can schedule lessons, hour by hour, that allow you to progress at your own pace.
Know your instructors - Garry purchased his first new motorcycle in Indianapolis, Indiana in 1971 while dating Dorathy. We went out on lots of dates on that motorcycle. Garry enlisted in the Marines in 1972 and we were married in 1973. Our second new motorcycle was purchased in Palm Springs, California in 1975 while stationed at 29 Palms, California. We have had several motorcycles since then, and ridden to Laughlin, Kingman, Las Vegas, Hollister, Denver, and Virginia. Dorathy has had several motorcycles and now has a Sportster 1200. We have ridden lots of miles, in all types of conditions, and have lots of experience to share with you. SoCal Real Riders can help you raise your skill level as high as possible. The better you are, the safer you will be.

Never Ridden Before? Begin riding now. Learn the fundamentals of riding in a parking lot with a minimum of distractions, before we go out on the streets.
Learners Permit Expiring? Got a big bike and don't want to drop it, and need to pass the DMV Skills Test? Take the test on our bike. Our bike is much easier to pass the test on.
Intermediate Rider w/Recent CM1 License - We will help you maintain, and increase your skill level to prepare you for complex street riding situations.
Rusty Rider - Did you ride years ago? Need to sharpen your skills before you get out on today's crowded streets? You should refresh your skills on a bike that is easy to ride. We can help you get back in the saddle soon.
